The main objectives of the program are:
- To offer adequate knowledge and skills for the work on both legal and non-legal jobs related to the gender mainstreaming in all relevant fields of law-making and law implementation in judiciary, decision-making in the governments and state administration, state/regional/local policy-making related to economics, social security, media, culture, and concerning the academic gender sensitive knowledge production, which has been systematically and comprehensively focused on the intersectional and diversity perspective, in the fields of law as well as social sciences and humanities.
- To form personnel capable and competent to perform tasks that require expertise within the gender mainstreaming of legal professions (judiciary, advocacy, prosecution, state administration), in regards of positions like administrative staff, strategists, consultants, analysts, trainers, human resource officers, information officers, and also work including implementation, assessment or evaluation of policy, decision-making in social, cultural, economic, educational public policies.
- To elaborate and demonstrate the importance of gender competent legal knowledge and education, as one of the pillars of advancing the rule of law and enhancing attempts towards affirming diversity and inclusion within ideas and practice of universal equality.
- The training in such a way to gain gender equality competence, that is comprehensively articulated from intersectional and diversity perspective.
- To gain knowledge and skills to professionally and responsibly perform tasks related to gender sensitive understanding of legal and other academic issues.
- To achieve ability for reconsidering from gender competent perspective European law and its implementation into national law.
- To develop creative abilities urgently needed for critical analysis of law, politics, economics, public policies reconsidered from gender equality and sensitive for intersectionality and diversity perspective.
- To acquire knowledge, ability and skills necessary to participate in the further education process even at levels of the specialist and doctoral studies.
- To master the scientific and IT-technical methodology and English terms.
