Ranking and Selection

The selection of candidates for the LAWGID Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Programme is carried out in a transparent, objective and merit-based manner, in accordance with the Programme rules.

The entire ranking and selection process is managed by the LAWGID Admission and Selection Committee (LASC).

Step 1: Eligibility and Document Check

After the closure of the Call for Applications, LASC performs a formal verification of all submitted applications.

At this stage, the following minimum requirements are checked:

  • English language proficiency.

Applicants (both scholarship-seeking candidates and self-funded candidates) whose applications do not fulfil the minimum requirements are considered ineligible and excluded from the selection process.

Ineligible candidates are informed by e-mail:

  • of the reasons for exclusion, and
  • of the available appeal procedure.

Step 2: Evaluation of Scholarship Applications

For candidates applying for the LAWGID Erasmus Mundus scholarship, each eligible application is evaluated on a 100-point scale.
